A.J. Alberts Wins a 2026 Nextdoor Fave Award in Woodbury

Woodbury neighbors chose A.J. Alberts Plumbing as a 2026 Nextdoor Fave Award Winner in the Plumber category. This recognition comes from neighbor votes, and we are grateful to everyone who recommended us and took the time to vote.

There is something personal about recommending a plumber. You are sharing the name of someone you trust to come into a neighbor’s home, listen to the problem, and help put things right. Having our Woodbury neighbors choose A.J. Alberts means a great deal to us.

To everyone who voted, passed our name along, or trusted us with work in your home: thank you. This is a chance to celebrate the community that supports this business and the recommendations that connect one homeowner to the next.

What is the 2026 Nextdoor Fave Award?

Nextdoor’s annual Fave Awards recognize local businesses through neighbor voting. In its official 2026 announcement, Nextdoor explains that the awards reflect recommendations from the communities where businesses operate. Voting starts fresh each year.

The winner letter addressed to AJ Alberts Plumbing confirms our award in the Plumber category and names Woodbury as the community whose neighbors chose us. We are proud to share that recognition exactly as awarded.

Nextdoor also states that businesses cannot pay for Faves or votes, and payment does not improve their chance of winning. That makes the neighbor participation behind this award especially meaningful to us. You can learn more about the program on Nextdoor’s Fave Awards page.

Why does a neighbor’s recommendation matter so much?

Plumbing is work people often need when something has interrupted their day. A leak needs attention. A water heater stops delivering hot water. A drain backs up. Knowing who to call can make that moment easier to handle.

A recommendation from someone nearby gives a homeowner a place to start. It also gives us a responsibility: to treat that referral with care. When you share our name, you are putting your own trust behind it.

That is what we want to recognize today. Thank you for the conversations, recommendations, and votes that brought this award to our Woodbury shop.

The local work behind the thank-you

A.J. Alberts has served Twin Cities homeowners since 1989. We are locally owned and operated, based on Afton Road in Woodbury, and our work includes water conditioning, plumbing, water heaters, boilers, and drains.

Our approach remains straightforward: understand the problem, explain the recommendation, and provide written upfront pricing before work begins. We have no commissioned salespeople. You can meet A.J. Alberts and learn about our approach before deciding whether we are the right fit for your home.

The award recognizes our plumbing business in Woodbury. Our service-area directory explains where we work across the Twin Cities, St. Croix Valley, and western Wisconsin. Homeowners can use it to check their community and find local service information.

Another reason to celebrate Woodbury

This Nextdoor recognition joins our separate Best of Woodbury wins for Best Plumbing Services in 2025 and 2026. Those awards come from Woodbury Magazine’s reader-voted program. Our Best of Woodbury announcement shares that story and links to the magazine’s winners list.

Each recognition gives us another reason to pause and thank the people who keep choosing a local business. We appreciate the opportunity to keep serving you.

Thank you for putting our name forward

We are celebrating a 2026 Nextdoor Fave Award in the Plumber category, chosen by Woodbury neighbors. The part that stays with us is the trust behind those votes. Thank you for welcoming us into your homes and for recommending us to the people around you.
